Every year Windermere closes its offices for one day to help make a positive difference in our local communities. It all started in 1984 when a handful of Windermere owners and agents came together to make repairs at a local elementary school. Thirty years and more than one million hours of community service later, we’ve continued this tradition through neighborhood-enhancing projects in the areas where our Windermere teams live, work, and play. This year’s project was a big one and we had a blast! We tackled painting, cleaning, organizing, and yard work for our local Boys & Girls Club for Benton and Franklin County. The Pasco building is a popular place for summer programs and festivities, so it was our pleasure to give it a much needed facelift and get it all shined up for a summer full of fun and kids!!!
This organization gives our local youth so much and we are honored to give them back a little for all they do! Thank you to all the staff and local businesses that donated and participated in making this project a success. We truly could not do it with out each of you helping us! A day of fresh air and team work is just plain good for the soul! So to our Windermere Tri-Cities staff and agents, thank you for coming out and pitching in! I think we could all agree it was a day well spent investing in our community, and giving back to a very worthy cause!
Enjoy this little video of the crew at work! Windermere Community Service Day 2016
Can’t wait to see what project will be chosen next, we look forward to it each year!!!
